History of Pinto Lake
Article published by the city of Watsonville about the 110 acre natural lake located about about two miles north of Watsonville in the community of Amesti. The lake is a popular venue for boating, fishing, picnics, camping, and birdwatching.

Pinto Lake County Park
Santa Cruz County Park about 180 acres in size that includes about 40 acres of Pinto Lake. Facilities include a fishing pier, nature trails, soccer fields, a baseball field, a disc golf cours, a children's playground, family picnic areas, wheelchair accessible restrooms.

Pinto Lake City Park
Park owned by the city of Watsonville that includes about 70 acres of the north end of Pinto Lake about about 8 acres of shoreline land. Facilities include picnic areas with barbecues, a campground for recreational vehicles, a children's playground, summer boat rentals, and boat launch. All boats must be inspected and there is a fee for launching. The park has sports facilities for horseshoes, softball, and volleyball. Pinto Lake Park is the home of the Watsonville American Little League. and it is the site of an annual Children's Fishing Derby. Pinto Lake Park is owned by the City of Watsonville, it is operated by an independent contractor, and it is located at 451 Green Valley Road, in the community of Amesti, about 2 miles north of the town of Watsonville.
