Dominguez Rancho Adobe
170 year old historic home located on a small hill that has been designated as State of California Historic Landmark Number 152. Today is is a museum open the public and offering guided tours. Located at 18127 Alameda Street in Carson (take Alameda Street exit from the Artesia Freeway and drive south a few blocks).

Home Depot Center
Multiple-use, sports complex on the campus of California State University at Dominguez Hills. Built at a cost of about $150 million and first opened in June of 2003. The 27,000 seat stadium was designed for soccer (association football) and it is the home of two Major League Soccer teams, the Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA and the former home of the now disbanded Los Angeles Sol women's soccer team. Home Depot Center also has a 13,000 seat tennis stadium, a 20,000 seat outdoor track and field facility, and a 2,500 seat velodrome.
