Hermosa Hotel
Budget hotel located at 201 Clarissa Avenue in Downtown Avalon. Allows small to mid-size dogs in some of their rooms for an additional fee, and only if pet reservations are made in advance. As of the tie of this writing their pet fee is $25 per night added to the room rate. Dogs must have their own bed, they may not use the guest room's bed or bedding. Dogs must be attended at all times and may never be left in the room alone. Dogs must wear a currentyly dog license from their home juristiction.

Holiday Inn Resort Catalina
75 room hotel located at 808 Country Club Drive, about half a mile from the waterfront area of Downtown Avalon. Allows pets weighing 50 pounds or less for an additional fee. Pets must be attended to at all times and must never be left in the guest room alone. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the guest room. Guests are responsible for any injuries or damages the pet causes to people and property. As of the time of this writing the hotel's pet fees are:
- $75 one-time pet deposit
- $75 per night room rate add-on

Seacrest Inn
10 room inn located at 201 Clarissa Avenue in Downtown Avalon, about one block from Avalon Bay. Allows dogs 25 pounds or less in its four downstairs rooms: the Garden room, the Mermaid Room, the Palm Room, and the Seashell Room.

Bringing Pets to Catalina on the Ferry
Pets are allowed on the Catalina Express Ferry that departs from Dana Point, Long Beach, and San Pedro, but only if they are either (1) muzzled and on a leash or (2) inside a pet carrier. No pets are allowed on the Catalina Floyer Ferry that departs from Balboa Harbor in Newport Beach.
