Centinela Adobe
The historic Centinela Adobe is considered the birthplace of Inglewood, andwhile it is located at 7643 Midfield Avenue in the Westchester community of the city of Los Angeles, it it maintained by the city of Inglewood in cooperation with the Historical Society of the Centinela Valley. The Centinela Adobe is also known as "La Casa de la Centinela" and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
