Parks South of Livermore
Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area
Features a motocross track for motorcycles only,
an ATV and motorcycle track,
a cildren's motorcycle and ATV track for
small-engine vehicles, and a beginner track for
motorcycles and ATVs with
engines up to 110 cc displacement.
Lake Del Valle State Recreation Area
State of California recreation area located about
five miles south of Livermore. Features Lake Dekl Valle
and the Del Valle Dam, which are both prat of the
South bay Aquaduct and the California State Water Project.
Activities include boating, fishing, swimming, horseback
riding, and picnics.
Ohlone Regional Wilderness
Parking for this wilderness area is available at the
Del Valle Regional Park near Livermore, Sunol Regional
Wilderness Park near Pleasanton, and the Mission
Peak Regional Preserve in Fremont.
Main activities are hiking and camping.
Sunol Regional Wilderness
Cark activities include guided nature walks, hiking,
horseback riding, camping, and picnics. Located at
1895 Geary road in Sunol, California.
